Hello again! Today, we are going to give some tips on how to possibly cleanse and activate your chakras through experiences in nature. There are many ways to give therapy to our chakras; such as being in nature, using sounds, chanting, gemstones and scents and even through the practice of yoga. If you didn’t get the chance to read our first two posts on Chakras, read them now so that you can better understand what we are talking about.
If you did get the chance to read the first two posts, maybe you have some sort of idea on which of your chakras are out of balance and could use some therapeutic healing. This post will focus on activating and cleansing your chakras just by being in nature. There is no better way to heal ourselves than through the loving energy of Mother Nature herself.
Root Chakra – Muladhara Chakra
The blood-red sun as it rises or sets, revitalizes and harmonizes the root chakra. In order to get in touch with the comforting and stabilizing energy of our planet through the root chakra, sit on the ground in lotus position (if you can, otherwise a comfortable seated position will do just fine) and consciously breathe in its fragrance. If you are able to combine both of these experiences, it will have an optimal and holistic effect on your root chakra.
Sacral Chakra – Svadhistana Chakra
The moonlight and a clear natural body of water stimulate the second chakra. The moon, especially when it is full, brightens your feelings and makes you more receptive to the messages of your soul. Also, the quiet contemplation of a clear natural body of water or being immersed in it, will help you cleanse and free yourself from emotional blockages. If you are able to combine both of these situations, the moon and contact with water, the effect on the second chakra will be outstanding. The life force within you will be able to flow again.
Solar Plexus Chakra – Manipura Chakra
Golden sunlight corresponds to the light, warmth and energy of the solar plexus chakra. If you open yourself to it, it will revitalize the light and energy within yourself. If you look at a sunflower, you will see spiraling patterns in unity. If you immerse yourself into this natural mandala, you can understand feelings of oneness with the universe as energy radiates outward from the center of the mandala, in a joyful and graceful way. Both of these situations stimulate our third chakra.
Heart Chakra – Anahata Chakra
A quiet walk through a green countryside harmonizes your entire being through the heart chakra. Pink-colored flowers are especially suitable for healing the heart chakra’s energies. Even a pink-colored sky brightens and expands our hearts. Let the beauty and soft colors of nature open your heart and feel love for the world through its splendor.
Throat Chakra – Vishuddha Chakra
The blueness of a cloudless sky stimulates a reaction within your throat chakra. Lie down on the ground and relax. You will feel how your mind opens and clears and the rigid influences on your throat chakra will slowly dissolve. Also, the soft sound of waves will bring awareness of your hidden emotions and what they have to tell you. The vibrating energies of both sky and water will refresh your mind and help you to express your feelings.
Third Eye Chakra – Ajna Chakra
The third eye can be stimulated by a starry, deep blue night sky. The celestial bodies in the infinity of space opens your mind to the limitless possibilities of the universe. This type of experience in nature gives you an idea of the energy and laws at work that are behind the normal visible plane of life.
Crown Chakra – Sahasrara Chakra
To open your crown chakra, spend time alone on the peak of a very high mountain top. Here, you are very far away from your earthly problems and it will be easier for you to let go of events going on in your personal life. The closeness to the heavens help you experience feelings of infinite freedom and boundlessness.
Of course all experiences in nature heal ourselves in some way. We are beings of light and nature is our home. Sometimes we get lost in our cities filled with influences of many people, which ultimately effect ourselves via our thoughts and emotions. Remember to take the time you need to be in touch with nature. Nature’s energy fills us up with life and a passion for living. In any case, nature is always one of the best ways to heal ourselves. We hope you enjoyed this post. Stay tuned for more chakra therapy using sounds and gemstones! <3
